Southeastern Model Show

Home

The best way that I can describe the Southeastern Model Show  is a whole latta' Stuff.  Planes as far as the eye could see, helicopters, power boats, gliders, engines, props, screws, coverings, tools, you name it - it was there. They even had a building dedicated for rubber powered plane building for kids with contests on the longest flight and nicest decorated plane. That's what my boys enjoyed the most and where we spent most of our time. However, what really made the show was the people. I meet so many friendly people I truly understand the phrase, "Southern Hospitality".  As far as the prices, well there are bargains if you looked hard enough or stayed until closing when they started to drop their prices, ( I couldn't stay that long,  for my boys "needed" to get home, but that's another story ).
So, what did I buy down in Perry --  Nothing but a raffle ticket.  I know, I'm still kicking myself in the head. But wait....the Toledo show is next  month..

A few pics from the show:
