As some of you may have heard, are flying site has been sold. President Phil Huff has been attempting to run down the purchaser of the property. After two weeks he located at the purchaser in Arizona. By the time we finally got to speak to someone we found the property had been resold again. This time the purchaser is in China. We are attempting to make contact with the new owners to get a status on our continued usage of this property.

At this time we have been unable to contact the new owners, so that leaves us in limbo as to whether we still are able to use the field, and if so for how long. We will continue to utilize the property with the permission of the former owners until we can make contact with the new owners. As you know we have been at this location for the last nine years. It is highly possible that we could remain unless they have plans to start construction on the property.

Just to be on the safe side, we ask that any member who has any knowledge of another location that we may be able to lease, contact one of the club officers. We ask all members to be on the lookout for possible new locations. As I said this is just a precaution and there is no need to get in a panic at this point. We will continue our operations as we have in the past until we are able to get some kind of answer from the new owner. It is our hope that we will be allowed to remain at our current location possibly with a long-term lease. It is our understanding that is been purchased as an investment and no construction has been planned. We will try to keep everyone informed as we receive new information.
